Only covers acupuncture if medically necessary for the following specific reasons:
Chronic pain such as low back pain, neck pain, migraine, knee pain, hip pain. Nausea & vomiting of pregnancy or chemotherapy. 

Aetna does not cover acupuncture for any other conditions.

Blue Cross Blue Shield BCBS: 
​Only covers acupuncture if medically necessary for the following specific reasons:
